Producers

Meet the team producing the 2024 Fashion Show.

FDE Director

Nate Olsen

I’m a Beaver through and through, raised in Corvallis. Those who know me know that I love Beaver Nation like they are family. I joined this class as an opportunity to learn more about runway show production and project management. I hope to take this experience into my career as a designer, with the hopes that is the first of many shows I will take part in over my career.

Treasurer

Kaitlyn Urasaki

Meet Kaitlyn, a senior from Oahu, Hawaii. She is currently pursuing a double major in merchandise management and apparel design. Driven by a desire to delve deeper into the intricacies of the fashion industry, Kaitlyn seeks to gain invaluable insights into the production of fashion shows. Eager to immerse themselves in every aspect of the process, from conception to execution, they are determined to play an active role in the community.

Designer Liaison

Eleisah Wright

As a senior in the design cohort I wanted to make sure I was involved in the show as much as possible since my designs would be shown in it. It has been really good to have a voice for the seniors in the class so our needs are met as well as accommodations are made to make sure everyone's vision for how their clothes are presented is met. I will be moving back to Portland after graduation, and searching for jobs in the apparel industry in the greater Pacific Northwest.

Designer Liaison

Olivia Causey

Olivia is an 18-year-old apparel design and merchandising management major at Oregon State University. She is originally from Arlington, a small town located near Seattle, Washington. Being a person who loves to travel, she decided to come to OSU to pursue her majors in an attempt to explore more of the world while also being close enough to bring her family along on the journey.
Olivia is a very driven and hard-working individual. She excels at paying attention to detail and looking for creative solutions. She is very passionate about everything she does, even the small stuff, and that was part of why she joined the Fashion Show team. She wanted to see if this was the world she wanted to be a part of in the future and challenge herself along the way while trying something new.

Hi, I'm Zoë, an Apparel Design major from Portland! Planning this show has been an amazing opportunity to work with fashion and creativity in a way I have never experienced before. As a junior, I am looking forward to getting to showcase my own designs in the show next year.

Model Director

Paige Willis

I grew up in Eugene, OR before moving to Corvallis to attend Oregon State. Growing up I’ve always been a creative thinker. When I saw that OSU offered a Design and Innovation Management degree that would allow me to use a multidisciplinary approach to take on creative challenges, I knew it would be a good fit for me.
When I learned that the College of Business was offering a class to take part in the production of a fashion show, I was excited about the opportunity. While I didn’t have much previous experience in apparel, I knew that this would be a great chance to put the skills I’ve learned surrounding project management, business, and the creative process into practice.
Being able to work as the Model Director and in show productions for this event has been a very rewarding experience so far, and I’m very grateful for the successes and the learning experiences I’ve had along the way. After all the brainstorming, practice runs and dedication the OSU community has put into this show, I can’t wait to see all of our hard work come together.
I’ll be graduating with a degree in Design and Innovation Management this spring, after which my goal is to find work in the design field.
